This year, Sleeping Warrior Stages 1 & 2 have a new addition linking Delamere Estates to the neighboring silk farm. There is also a new flying finish on a hill named after Kenya's national food staple, Ugali Hill. (Near Kambi Moran)
Through the forest, veldt, and groves of mulberry bushes, the new 7.5 km section serves a mix of tight and twisty bends, fast and flowing corners, and open straights that will allow the cars to reach their full potential, in a rally otherwise known as risky for pushing too hard.
Some of the rally's most spectacular viewing will be on this new section as the cars hit top speeds with Lake Elementaita and the dormant volcano that resembles a Sleeping Maasai Warrior in the background and Ugali Hills in front of it at Kambi Moran
Private spectator access on the farm can be arranged through Kambi Moran, the resident lodge at 0727 844 134 or info@sleepingwarriorcamp.com
There is also a public spectator area at the end of the stage that can be accessed along the Pipeline/high voltage power lines off the Kikopey - Mutaita road (add a pin to the finish point on Ugali Hill)
Explore a wide range of activities for guests to enjoy during their stay. From Silk farming tour, hiking, buggy rides to nature walks. This serene and adventurous getaway has something for everyone.
